Job Summary: The Technical Specialist II will Support Field Technicians w/ Basic Troubleshooting, Sourcing and Fulfilling Parts as Needed and; Logging all Engagements in the Designated System. The incumbent will be a Subject Matter Expert on Customer Equipment/Processes and; Provide Additional Support in Creating Technical Documentation for Common Problems or Issues Encountered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Support Technicians in the Field either 3rd Party or Internal
- - in the Following Areas: Troubleshooting & Determination
Of Issue/s, Provide Timely Escalation as Needed, Logistics
and Parts Sourcing, and Identifying if a Call Can be Closed
due to Any 'Environmental Issue(s)', Outside of their Scope
? Fill the Role of a Subject Matter Expert On Specified Cust's
Equipment and Processes -- Staying Current with Changes
On Supported Technologies For these Customer(s)
? Create a Technical Documentation for Common-Issues that
were Encountered in the Field - Provide Administrative and
Logistics Support for 3rd Party Technicians Completing Svc
Calls; Responsible for Logging Call Request/s for Service &
Closing Calls once Services have been Completed
? Responsible for Documenting, Tracking and Updating Parts
Order(s) and; Verifying Shipment(s) as Necessary/Required
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
? High School Graduate (Required) - College Level Preferred
[Related Course, Study, or Field - With Related Experience]
? One(1) Year Technical Support Experience (BPO) Required
-- Proven Experience in Troubleshooting/Resolving General
Tech Issue(s) - Experience Using Common Troubleshooting
Utilities and Communication Protocols is Required
? Technology Helpdesk and IT Store Support Experience is A
Plus for this Role - Incident Management Experience is also
An Advantage (Managing SLA's Of Tech Repair/s)
? Exp Working in Adverse Repair & Installation Environments
? Demonstrates Business Communication Skills - with Strong
Customer Service Orientation -- Able to Articulate Thoughts
and Maintain Positive Working Relationships -- (via Existing
Communication Tools/Methods - - Email, Chat, Phone, etc.)
? Excellent Telephony Skills (Phone Etiquette); Can Multitask
and Manage Multiple Assignments, Or Processes at a Time
