In this role, you will collaborate closely with a diverse array of stakeholders, including operations, clinical teams, and management. Your role will entail the translation of intricate information into policies that are not only practical but also highly effective. Working hand in hand with these stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that the policies developed meet the evolving needs of our aged care community.
Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Day shift, 7AM - 4PM MNL time, with flexibility

Work setup: Onsite, Alabang (Onsite but may transition to Hybrid)

Navigating Policy Precision: Your Responsibilities Draft, revise, and edit policies and procedures pertaining to all aspects of aged care, including resident care, clinical services, human resources, finance, and risk management.
Conduct research and analysis to stay updated on changes in legislation, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure policies align with the organization's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as clinical teams, managers, and executives, to gather input and ensure policies are practical and effective.
Regularly review policies to ensure they remain current and relevant.
Provide training and education to staff on new and updated policies.
Maintain a comprehensive policy library, ensuring all documentation is organized, accessible, and up to date.
Develop and deliver training materials to staff on new and updated policies.
Participate in the continuous improvement of policies through review and evaluation processes.
Contribute to enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of the organization's policy framework.
Outcome/Performance measures:
Ensure policies are up to date and aligned with internal and external requirements.
Resolve policy issues within agreed timeframes.
Maintain polite and professional communication reflecting SummitCare values.
Communicate relevant information as required.
Maintain confidentiality.
Complete all work within agreed timelines.
Identify and rectify gaps in policies.
Utilize feedback in policy development.
Develop policies within established guidelines.
Make recommendations for improvement.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with SummitCare policies, procedures, and legislation.
Adhere to delegated areas of SummitCare's Performance Measures Matrix (PMM).
Requirements Prepared for Policy Perfection: Your Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing, health administration, or business (preferred).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in policy writing, preferably in the aged care industry.
Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Google suite of applications.
Passion for aged care and a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents.
Deep understanding of, and ability to apply environmental context, data, and legislation.
