Office Assistant Job Responsibilities: Maintains office operations by receiving and distributing communications; maintaining supplies and equipment; coordinate with third-party partners in managing document pick-up and deliveries; supporting Benefits Management Operations. Office Assistant Job Duties: Receives mail or correspondence for the work unit or area. Opens or reviews correspondence and determines proper disposition. Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation; monitoring. Serves customers by backing-up receptionist; answering questions; forwarding messages; assist Benefits Management Operations in accomplishing tasks. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Office Assistant Skills and Qualifications: General, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills, Advance MS Excel is an advantage. Willing to learn technology enabled tools like internet network, VOIP system, CRM platform.
