Southern Arkansas University is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Special Education. Review of applications will begin February 15, 2019.
Duties: teach graduate and undergraduate level classes in special education; serve as director and advise students in Masters of Special Education program; participate in service opportunities for the program, departments, college, and University; work collaboratively with colleagues and help in preparing university, state, and national accreditation reports; engage in scholarly activities appropriate to the discipline; participate in recruitment and retention activities for the College of Education and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: earned doctorate in special education (master’s degree with relevant experience may be considered); current teaching license in special education; minimum three years of teaching experience in K-12 schools; evidence of teaching online and/or face to face at the university level; evidence of scholarship in education.
