EMAPTA is looking for an Application Support Technician for Point of Sale who can join our team in Makati on a mid-shift scheduleThe Application Support Technician role is perfectly suited to someone who enjoys technical challenges and providing problem solving services to customers. You will be involved both online and onsite as well as provide telephone and email support to customers with technical queries regarding our software and hardware solutions.
Responsibilities
Provide remote application support assistance to clients from the office or onsite
Escalate to 2nd & 3rd level support resources as appropriate
Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Troubleshoot, document and refine internal processes
Follow the standard policies and procedures
Update & maintain the Helpdesk Call Logging system (zendesk.com)
CRM database management (zendesk.com)
Promote services to enhance customer experience, products & revenue
Break fix according to company standards
Follow up on open incidents and keep the customer informed
Contribute to and maintain the internal knowledge base
Ad hoc projects as requested by the Client Services Manager
Data entry and system setup for new clients
Qualifications
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role working for an offshore company
Excellent customer service skills
Display a willingness to learn & a positive attitude
The ability to understand technical problems & deliver solutions
In depth Windows & networking knowledge
Point of Sale experience will be highly regarded
Can work with minimal supervision
Willing to work on 4/11 shift with 3 consecutive days off
Willing to render PAID over time
