Cartrack is looking for candidates that can join our growing team as a UI/UX Designer. We are creating revolutionary platforms that will change the industry. To be successful in this position the candidate must work well in a fast paced environment with like minded engineers that have an desire to build incredible software in a fast, efficient and scalable manner.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can help turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation componenents for web and mobile applications. Top design skills, collaboration and communication are key as you will work with a global team to create products our customers use.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong background in visual design with a portfolio demonstrating previous work
Deep knowledge of responsive web design
Knowledge of relevant design software, prototyping and wireframing tools (Sketch preferred)
Great presentation skills with the ability to speak about creative process and communicate the design strategy
Knowledge of traditional design methods and theories
Ability to iterate rapidly on concepts and wireframes
Strong visual sensibility
Ability to collaborate with a global team of UI/UX designers spanning multiple timezones

Education
BS/MS degree in Design or related area; or equivelant work experience

Work Experience
5+ years of web UI/UX design experience
5+ years of mobile UI/UX design preferred
Experience working with multiple stake-holders, including Product Management
Understanding of Agile software development practices.
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
