Test Equipment Engineer

Job description This rapidly expanding semiconductor company in Malacca is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer. Key Responsibilities:Test Equipment Design and Development: Design and develop test equipment solutions for semiconductor devices, ensuring accurate and efficient testing processes.Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to understand product specifications and requirements.Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing processes.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.Test Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving test processes and equipment efficiency.Implement changes and enhancements to optimize testing procedures and reduce cycle times.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to address testing requirements.Provide clear and concise communication regarding equipment status, issues, and resolutions.Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test equipment designs, specifications, and procedures.Generate regular reports on equipment performance, test results, and improvement initiatives.Skills & Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of semiconductor test equipment.Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and testing methodologies.Proficient in using relevant software tools for equipment design and simulation.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
