Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in EE or ECE. Typically requires minimum of 3 years related and progressive experience with semiconductor IC's.

Strong analytical skills. Ability to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments and analysis of complex data.

Experience with evaluation of analog and mixed signal circuits .

Strong ATE program development skills ideally with Teradyne or National Instruments.

Knowledge of software languages ideally in VB, C/C++ and LabVIEW.

Knowledge of mixed signal PCB design and associated CAD/Simulation tools.

Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills are essential coupled with demonstrated ability to work at a high level of performance both independently and in large multi-discipline development teams spanning multiple time zones.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to aggressive schedules.

Experience working with bench evaluation equipment. (meters, oscilloscopes, analysers)

Brief Job Description:

The charter of the Switch, Mux, References, and Temperature Sensors (SMX/RT) Group is to drive continuous development and innovation on essential analog signal chain products and be responsible for the proliferation of this technology to multiple Market Segments including Industrial, Automation, Automotive and Consumer. The SMX/RT Test Development team services three main product portfolios: Analog and MEMS Switches and Multiplexers, References and Temperature Sensors. The team is seeking a Test Development engineer to work with the new product development team to characterize and production test a wide range of high performance analog integrated circuits on a mix-signal ATE test platform. The test development engineer will be working as part of a project team comprised of members from disciplines such as marketing, design, product, assembly, quality, wafer foundry and application engineering to bring a product concept to a released mass production solution. The ideal candidate would have some experience with references, amplifiers, analog to digital converters, analog circuits, power management, semiconductor IC processes, PCB design, CAD/Simulation tools and Software development.

Development of innovative, reliable and efficient Probe and Test solutions on high performance mixed-signal ATE platforms for multisite parallel testing of a range of integrated circuit products.

Execution of the Test Development Process including the development phases of Silicon Functionality, Sampling, Characterization, Qualification, Yield Analysis and Production release to the manufacturing.

Contribute to DFT/BIST definition & development to maximise test coverage, reduce FFC and improve testability.

Implement pre-tapeout verification of test solutions using Design Simulation tools.

Define production test limits and datasheet specifications based on characterization data and production test gauge R&R studies.

Confirm complete test coverage of the datasheet with statistical significance to ensure product meets all manufacturing requirements.

Support manufacturing to maintain production yield and high quality.
