Job Description
Job Summary
As part of the global technology audit team, the role is accountable for completing assigned audit work of all types (key risk audits, emerging risk reviews, defined procedures, project risk audits , annual SOX audits and other special projects) and the delivery of high quality, professional, cost-effective, value-added and risk-based audit services for both Asia and North America segments. The Technology Auditor / Senior Technology Auditor works under the direction of the Audit Manager/Director. The Technology Auditor / Senior Technology Auditor would typically be assigned responsibility to complete specific components of the audit project. More experienced individuals may be assigned auditor-in-charge role in the audit project.
Individual Accountabilities:
Complete audit assignments in accordance with department and IIA standards.
Manage assigned work within time budgets and target dates, reporting any timing problems or budget variances to the Audit Manager.
Communicate/conduct interviews with management regarding the risks being managed by business unit; and assist in developing risk management objectives and audit programs to evaluate these risks.
Present findings and recommendations to business unit management; resolve contentious issues and reach agreement on appropriate solutions.
Follow-up on open audit issues until resolved as assigned.
Provide on the job training to new staff assisting on assignments.
Use technology and data analytics to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit process.
Job Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
2 to 4 years of technical infrastructure/applications development/cyber security experience or internal/external audit technology audit experience
Good knowledge of audit principles with a good understanding of business and technical processes and their risk implications, analyze situations, reach appropriate conclusions, and make value-added and practical recommendations
Work schedule flexibility and must willing to work with North America hours when assigned with North America audit engagements
Detail-Oriented with a high aptitude for learning and able to think outside the box
Excellent interpersonal and technical writing skills
Able to communicate and present audit findings and able to deal with confrontations and conflicts
Commitment to quality and results oriented
Strong team-player who willingly and openly shares ideas and knowledge and vice versa
Provide clear and timely constructive feedback. Take steps to address feedback results
Previous Big-4 experience is preferable
Recognized professional auditing (CISA) or technology (ITIL/CCNP/AWS-SA/MCSE/RHCE/CISSP/CISM/CEH/CHFI, etc) designations
Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects, and meet deadlines
Regional travel in Asia is required
Candidate with more relevant experience will be considered as Senior Technology Auditor

Collaborating with management to obtain a consensus on establishing the problem, the nature and potential impact of risks, and corresponding recommendation to resolve the risk exposure
Managing business unit management’s expectations regarding deadlines and deliverables
Establish a high level of credibility and build professional relationships with business unit management
Prioritization and time management in a multi-tasking environment
Keep current with new audit techniques, company policies and procedures, and knowledge of the wealth and insurance industry
Must be tech savvy – keeping current with technology trends and familiarizing with the latter’s potential risks
