Supply Chain Supervisor

We are on the look for an effective, knowledgeable, and committed Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee and conduct data analysis to improve our supply chain operations. This is a critical role in our organization, charged with increasing efficiency and reducing costs. Our overall goal is to find the right person to help our supply chain run as smoothly and profitably as possible.Supply Chain Supervisor Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee creation of processes and methods to gather supply chain dataProcess data, identifying problematic areas and suggesting improvementsExceptional organizational and multitasking skillsDesign and implement necessary supply chain optimization projectsDevelop requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.)Analyze, optimize, and oversee inventory proceduresCommitment to uncovering the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedulesAssess vendor operations (e.g. freight) according to quality benchmarks and standardsFoster strong partnerships with other businessesWork with IT professionals to implement efficient systemsTrack KPIs and generate reports for supply chain performanceBS/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a relevant fieldSignificant work experience as a Supply Chain Supervisor, Manager, Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or another similar roleProven experience in data mining, analysis, and reportingProficient understand of all levels of the supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)Analytical mindset coupled with a strong business acumenAptitude for problem solving and troubleshootingExcellent attention to detailExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalOutstanding organizational and management skills
