ResponsibilitiesBelow are the responsibilities of the Showroom & Sales Manager but not limited to:Sales & Marketing?Manage, motivate and mentor sales consultants to ensure adequate lead generation, tracking and conversion to sales.?Handle and close sales of very important (VIP) clients.?Ensure that sales consultants are working effectively to maximize lead conversion and lead closure rates with their assigned territories, as well as managing their individual clients to meet or exceed individual quotas.?Ensure the company's "best practices" are being used by each sales consultant in working with their assigned clientele. Ensure the highest level of attention is being paid to lead conversion rates. ?Ensure that all team members have the proper Product Knowledge. ?Ensure that all team members maintain professionalism and proper etiquette through all forms of communication.?Coordinate with the marketing team to formulate and implement sales and promotional events.?Develop new sales strategies and sales channels to increase revenueAdministrative?Ensure excellent visual merchandising and store appearance?Ensure correct pricing and information of merchandise?Oversee store maintenance and equipment?Monitor key performance indicators of each team member?Ensure that the proper administrative, accounting and HR policies and procedures are implemented and followed by all showroom employees and sales consultants?Communicate with the different departments back-end departments such as Accounting and HR Buying & Inventory Management:?Coordinate with the merch and buying manager to develop and execute purchasing plans to maintain optimal inventory levels.?Check and approve all purchase orders of suppliers.?Manage the right product mix, ensuring a balanced assortment for each item and category.?Oversee inventory in the showroom and warehouse, implementing efficient organization strategies.?Coordinate buying plans with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.?Coordinate with warehouse and logistics for incoming stock.
