Description:
The post holder will work for the Digital Marketing Unit and provide assistance to the Digital Marketing Manager of one of the largest global leaders of humanitarian aid around the World. The Social Media Officer leads efforts to deliver compelling and engaging content (proactively and reactively) through the direct management of official social media channels. S/he provides guidance and support to staff at all levels of the organization on social media use and produces in-depth reports on content performance. S/he identifies social media trends and applies them appropriately in-house, creating and adapting best practice accordingly.
Requirements:
Qualifications
• You have at least 4+years of experience in online community management and a track record of success building and nurturing engaged social communities.
• You have a solid understanding of social networks, digital content and online customer service.
• You (could) have experience in developing and managing fundraising campaigns on social media.
• You have excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• You follow social media innovations and content trends, and generally heart the internet.
• You have proven experience in quickly understanding the technical aspects of your activities and adopting the related tools (e.g. social conversation and response management tools, etc.)
• You have some experience at an International Humanitarian organization.
• You are fluent in English. Being able to read and write in French to C1 or fluent level would be a plus.
