Since 2003, Retail Express has helped drive more than $20bn in retail sales and is recognised as both a solution and innovation leader within the field of Retail & Retail POS.ReportingReporting to the Digital ManagerThe OpportunityAs part of the Retail Express marketing team, you will be tasked with cultivating the organisations organic position, improving the brands organic reach, search engine visibility and improving the quality of organic traffic coming to the website.You will work on cutting edge marketing initiatives, using the latest technology to create organic market share, continually improve Retail Express’s reputation in the market and increase rank positioning across business-critical keywords/phrases.You will be working in collaboration with the marketing team based in Sunshine Coast, Australia, assisting the Marketing Director and Digital Manager to deliver a success multi-channelled digital marketing campaign.What A Day Looks Like- Day to day optimisation and management of the SEO campaigns (with the supervision of the Digital Manager) working towards defined KPIs & objectives set by the Marketing Director- Cultivating link opportunities, sponsored link networks, outreach/influencer collaboration opportunities and delivering link analysis ensuring that harmful links are disavowed- Supporting the overall Content Marketing Strategy with insight and ideas to ensure content production processes align to market needs, trends, customer personas and overall brand strategy- Rigorous analysis of data and metrics to understand how Retail Express is performing and what is required to progress- Ensure website UX, code standards and overall performance is as efficient as possible- Preparing reports and hypotheses on campaign progress, opportunities, risks etc- Monitor SEO trends and search engine updates, changes to ensure Retail Express constantly aligns to a best practice and ethical approach- Proposing new ideas, technology and opportunities for continued organic progressionWhat You Will Need - A minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering SEO solutions and strategy- A good understanding of SEO tools including SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Console, SEOQuake, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs- A good understanding of HTML and CSS- Basic understanding of JavaScript- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent time management and organisation skills- Ability to analyse and identify trends- A true passion for Search Engine Optimisation- Experience in improving the user experience of a website, driving a better conversion rate, and running A/B tests a plus.- Good understanding of common CMS such as WordPress- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint- Ability to manipulate and understand large volumes of data using Excel.
