Senior Internal Auditor

What do we offer Performs audits and assurance activities for Grundfos, leader in water solutions. Audits include strategic, operational, financial and IT. Reporting to the CFO and Audit Committee, this organization is responsible for driving activities that enhance the overall risk management and control environment.
Key activities
Reporting to the Head of Audit, this role is considered a lead role within the organization with significant visibility to senior management. Key areas of responsibility include:
Successfully design, manage and execute the completion of audit engagements, working with a team
Ensure recommendations are followed through via a regular review process. Contribute to business-critical consulting projects sponsored by senior leadership utilizing various analytical and process improvement techniques
Perform ad hoc investigations on specific subjects. Act as an objective source of independent advice
Facilitate change and process improvement by offering value-added recommendations. Serve as a catalyst to share best practices both at IA level as well as throughout Grundfos
Work effectively as part of a motivated, diverse and international team. Demonstrate critical thinking and an interest in taking on new challenges
Critical knowledge and experience
CIA or CISA is an advantage
5 years working experience in audit; familiarity with IT audit
Fraud Examiner / understanding of Fraud Investigation protocols is a plus
Knowledge of SAP and experience on analysing large amounts of data is a plus
Demonstrated excellence in communication and presentation at all levels, negotiation skills, critical thinking, analytics, strategic as well as operational business knowledge, and partnering with financial and operational business leaders are essential qualities
Be a self-starter and a motivator
Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and work independently
Good knowledge of English written and spoken
Willingness to travel internationally
