Product Manager (Food/Pet Food Company) - Remote Work. Job Title: Product Manager. Level: Mid-Level Manager – Individual Contributor. Report to: Direct line - Marketing Director | Dotted line – R&D Head. Are you ready to make a significant impact in the pet food industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Product Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our product portfolio. You will have the opportunity to develop and launch innovative products while optimizing existing offerings to exceed customer expectations and achieve our business objectives. If you have a strategic mindset, a strong market awareness, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Planning : Conduct market research, collaborate with teams, and define target market positioning and value proposition for new and existing products. New Product Development : Lead end-to-end product development, from ideation to commercialization, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Product Optimization : Analyze product performance, gather customer insights, and implement strategies to enhance product quality and satisfaction. Project Management and Execution : Develop project plans, oversee packaging compliance, and work with suppliers for sourcing high-quality materials. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the pet food industry or consumer packaged goods. Strong knowledge of new product development processes, market research, and product optimization strategies. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Creative thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite product management software and other marketing tools.
