In your new role you will: Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy that aligns with the organization's overall manufacturing objectives and I4.0framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering,operations, and IT, to identify automation opportunities, define project scopes, and establish implementation plans. Evaluate and select appropriate automation solutions, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and equipment. Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting ofautomation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Establish and maintain connectivity between equipment and the manufacturing system, enabling real-time monitoring, data collection,and analysis. Develop and implement data automation strategies to stream line production workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making processes. Identify and analyze productivity bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and propose and implement automation solutions to optimize throughput and reduce cycle times. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to automation, data privacy, and cybersecurity. You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technical field Relevant working experience and knowledge in semiconductor industry Experience in leading the implementation and integration of automation technologies, including robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IoT devices, into the manufacturing processes. Successful track record and experience in manufacturing lights-outautomation and contributing to improvement of cost, yield, utilization, productivity and cycle time. Capable of independently manage automation projects and collaborating with cross functions. Capable in designing and developing factory information systems with scalable solution architecture and diverse I4.0 software applications. Experience in integrating new or legacy equipments for I4.0 automation purposes. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in an ever-changing work environment. Self-starter and results driven. Experience and knowledge of semiconductor Assembly and Test e.g. DiePrep, Back Grind, Wafer Saw, Die Attach, Wire Bond, Mold, Plasma, Package Saw, AOI, Test etc including FMEA, FDC, APC, etc. Experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, etc. Proven track record of ability to design, program, simulate, and test all automation implementations. Familiarity with connectivity protocols and standards. Experienced in data automation, data analytics, and visualization tools. Proficient in programming languages for automation system integration and customization. Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and deliver results within budget. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and a deep understanding of the interplay between automation, error-proofing, and productivity improvement.
