Network System Administrator

A Network Administrator maintains a reliable, secure and efficient office network. Ideal Network Administrator candidate should be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in office, in order to ensure smooth network operation.

· Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade office networks and in house servers
· Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.Install and
· maintain network hardware and software.
· Keep an eye out for needed updates
· Ensure network security and connectivity
· Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
· Resolve problems reported by end user
· Define network policies and procedures
· Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
· Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems.
· Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information and Communications Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other Information Technology related courses.
· Proven experience in a network administrator role
· Experienced in networking, routing and switching, familiar with tools such as Microsoft AD, Pfsense and etc.
· Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
· Ability to set up and configure server hardware
· Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
