Netsuite General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary: The Peak Design Finance team is growing and we're looking for someone that can assist in managing our Netsuite ERP system including data integrity, workflows, system integrations, and accounting transactions. The Netsuite General Ledger Accountant is responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing NetSuite to support the organization's financial processes and reporting requirements. This role requires a blend of financial expertise and technical skills to ensure that the NetSuite ERP system meets the company's financial management needs efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities: Configure NetSuite's financial modules, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets, to align with the company's accounting practices and financial reporting needs.
Manage roles and permissions to ensure the integrity and security of financial data
Design custom searches, reports, and dashboards in NetSuite to provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
Develop, maintain, and optimize complex financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs within NetSuite to provide accurate and timely financial data to stakeholders. Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Work cross-functionally with sales, technology, operations and customer service to review processes leading to data integrity issues, and define new processes to eliminate or mitigate errors.
Identify and implement improvements in financial processes within NetSuite, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Automate financial operations where possible to reduce manual effort and error.
Monitor existing data integrity processes and proactively identify new areas of potential risk.
Requirements Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Netsuite accounting records 2+ years of experience working with NetSuite financial modules and functionalities Experience creating custom searches, performing csv imports of data, and monitoring data integrity of financial information is strongly preferred
Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Certification as a NetSuite Administrator or NetSuite Financial User is highly desirable
Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
