Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description
Oversee plant production based on weekly and daily performance.
Create Production Run schedule based on Cargill’s product requirement.
Monitor and evaluate production run based on the daily target and actual production.
Oversee plant operations in the absence of Shift Supervisors and Production Manager.
Coordination with Cargill for the Finish Goods Transmittal in the absence of Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Lead.
Monitor the preparation and completion of Production Improvement Sheet (PIS) including bagging section.
Support in Production Quality Defect Investigation Report (PQDIR).
Review and verify completeness of production monitoring and reports.

Develop plans and programs to improve and sustain production efficiency
Conduct walk-by inspection in the production lines and report any unusual sound and abnormalities to the Maintenance Department
Sustain production run as established in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Create, Modify or Improve Production Standard Operating Procedures.
Lead in the conduct of Shift Turn-Over Meeting (STOM) which will be attended by different sections
Coordinate with maintenance department and ensure that preventive maintenance routine is religiously conducted (Lubrication, walk by inspections, etc.).

Monitoring, Inspection and Evaluation of Production Performance.
Monitor and evaluate production reports on a day-to-day basis for its quality and completeness.
Identify and raise issues and concerns among colleagues and track action plan until the root cause has been addressed.
Review production reports and identify concerns related to production, maintenance and others.

Observe, comply and ensure that all production personnel will observe OH&S procedures.
Comply with OH&S rules and regulations.
Coordinate with Technical Assistant for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Ensure 100% implementation of Housekeeping within the area of responsibility.
Ensure safe working procedures, practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed.

Embark on improvement undertakings
Oversee and ensure proper documentation of manuals and reports for future reference.
Lead in conducting Root Cause Analysis for any downtimes related to production and ensure all issues and concerns are addressed within their shift.
Initiate and participate in relevant technical discussions/ presentations.
