Job Description
Design and creation of IT and Business skills training and development programs based on the needs and expected outcome of the customer organization and individuals through skills assessment and performance gap analysis.
Design and creation of relevant skills assessments.
Monitoring and Evaluation of the effectiveness of delivered training programs
Act as Training and Development officer of customer organizations and individuals to monitor learning progress, professional progress, and objective satisfaction
Act as Project Manager for the Skills Management Program of customers
Keep up to date with developments in training, learning and development by reading relevant materials, attending meetings, attending relevant courses and networking with relevant organizations
Have an understanding of different learning modalities such as E-Learning, Distant or Virtual Learning, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of packaged learning programs
Job Qualifications
At least 3-5 years of experience in the IT training field – familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, Project Management and other certification programs is very advantageous
Related certification similar to Training or Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Career and Technical Education
Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources modeling
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or similar fields
With the ability to create reports using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is expected
With the ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments
