It Specialist Tier-1

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Performs Systems Administration functions (User Account Management, Hardware and Software Maintenance, Inventory, and Licenses).- Ensures security and availability of data through proper backup and verification procedures.- Ensures the Internet and Network Infrastructure uptime at least 99% by proper monitoring and escalation when issues arise.- Performs IT hardware and software rollouts, including PCs, Printers, phones, CCTV, and other IT resources.- Provides on-call support outside normal business hours as needed. - Performs successful application rollouts and implementations, reports issues, and provides feedback to improve the application.- Improves Team processes and tools, ensures it follows industry best practices. - Maintain and improve OLA, address helpdesk on time with no overdue tickets.- Conducts hardware and software maintenance periodically.- Suggests better and more effective ways to accomplish own tasks or overcome obstacles- Goes beyond immediate requests and activities to ensure both own and related tasks are completed- Properly documents and follows through on progress, issues, and agreements
