Job Description:
The Industrial and Occupational Assistant Director supervises the Industrial and Occupational Health Department with administrative, marketing and medical functions.
Supervises the whole operation of the unit, implements policies and procedures for the department Coordinates activities to promote and maintain a harmonious relationship in delivering health services among unit’s clients, medical staff, nurses, and government or non-government agencies. Nurtures customer relations through constant communication with clients. Responds to client feedback and ensure client satisfaction for services rendered to maintain a very high degree of client retention Temporarily assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Industrial Physician In its’ absence or unavailability. Also assists the Industrial Physician in its other duties when the Industrial Physician is unable to perform all its duties due to other reasons Facilitate Philhealth/PCAHO/DOH/ISO accreditation ( or other health accrediting bodies) of the Industrial Unit Preparation and regular update of the Quality manual, corresponding to the requirements of Philhealth/ PCAHO/ DOH/ ISO ( or other accrediting bodies) corresponding to the requirements of the above accrediting bodies, and in consonance with the organization of the company and the needed quality services which Qualimed must provide to its clients; Prepares annual census and statistical reports to DOH or as per required by the accrediting bodies Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a Doctor of Medicine; Licensed physician with Basic Occupational Safety and Health training or passed the Basic Course in Occupational Medicine; Preferably with at least two (2) years experience in administrative management; Membership in the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine and/or a diploma in Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Hospital Administration would be an advantage.
