Guidance Counselor

1. Regularly updates student individual records.2. Prepares and implements plan for activities of the Guidance Office.3. Conducts Counseling/Consultation for students/parents/guardians.4. Facilitates scholarships and financial assistance to students.5. Facilitates/Assists in the implementation of information and orientation services.6. Coordinates with Research and Development Office in the conduct of research relevant to student needs and welfare.7. Coordinates with parents, teachers and the community regarding the enhancement of student welfare.8. Assist in the implementation of Homeroom Guidance together with the Principal and Class Adviser (for High school).9. Facilitates/Assists in the administration, scoring and interpretation of tests.10. Facilitates referral system and follow ups.11. Coordinates with the OBTO (for maritime courses) for placement.12. Facilitates/Assists in the implementation of Homeroom Guidance together with the Principal and Class Adviser (for High school).13. Implements Peer Facilitating Activities.14. Performs clerical functions of the Guidance office.15. Updates bulletin board display.16.
