BMG Outsourcing currently looking for a **General Accountant** to assist our client in mining and construction sector and ensure that all the client's processes are followed, and the quality standard is met.**Responsibilities**:- Working with the Finance Manager to manage the accounting, finance and payroll functions for the client.- Ensure compliance with all financial statutory and legislative requirements and conduct all activities.- Management of banking and taxation requirements.- Manage debt collection.- Review, process and approve all invoices to be paid.- Manage accounts receivable aging reports.- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.- Manage the Workers Compensation process.- Manage the processes for the financial forecasting and budgets.- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, cash few reports, budgets, budget to actuals and financial projections.- Update all company dashboard within timeframes.- Complete EOM and EOFY processes and reporting within the specified timelines.- Oversee the operation payroll metrics.- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.- Develop and implement processes and policy to promote continuous improvement.**Job Qualifications**:- Minimum of 2-3 years work experience in Australian Accounting- With at least 2 years of work experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll processing- With excellent verbal and written communication skills- Proficient in using MS Excel and Accounting Software - Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks- High level of accuracy- Generally able to work with a team- Excellent time ('To do list') management & prioritisation- Effective communicator- Professional and detail-oriented**Benefits**:- Health insurance- On-site parkingSchedule:- 8 hour shift- Day shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Australian Accounting: 2 years (preferred)- AP/AR: 2 years (preferred)- BPO: 2 years (preferred)- Xero / MYOB / QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)
