Gds Tax - Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Project Director to support the delivery of all aspects of a significant
tax-related software solution in Asia Pacific.

Assist in managing
stakeholders’ expectations on the delivery of technology solutions.

Work with PMO and PM to
identify skillsets and requirements for team resources

Reporting to Project
Director on issues of development progress, skill, and quality.

Ensure project KPI’s are
met (excluding budget).

Assist Project Director
in developing solution design(s).

Mentor developers into
best-practices.

Ensure development team
design, develop and implement a service-oriented architecture using latest
technologies for Microsoft technology platforms.

Support subject matter
experts to program/project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of technical
solutions.

Ability to effectively
communicate with other senior leaders of IT on program strategies and plans and
negotiate quality solutions

Qualification & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in
Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA. Master’s Degree is
optional.

A relevant 5 years’
experience with hands on management of development teams working on building,
integrating and delivering enterprise-wide web and windows applications.

Strong understanding of
the principles of DevOps -?Continuous?integration and delivery.

Strong understanding of
the software development lifecycle.
