Frontend Web Developer

Description:
DTN is looking for a Front End Developer to join our Engineering team in Manila. You’ll be part of an engineering team responsible for the systems and tools used by our operational meteorologists to efficiently produce and distribute high-quality weather forecasts and related support to private industry clients all over the world.
Requirements:
Your daily responsibilities will focus on:
Designing and developing responsive web applications to transform and display weather data using industry-standard patterns, methods, and deployment models.
Collaboratively investigating, evaluating, and improving existing tools and their documentation.
Develop and document deployment and CICD process.
Investigating problem reports, writing tests, and troubleshooting issues.
Handling maintenance tasks affecting source code, deployment jobs, and cloud infrastructure.
Improving the overall cohesiveness, experience, and quality of the team’s applications.

What you bring to the team:
Fluency in modern JavaScript (including ES6, npm, webpack), HTML, and CSS.
Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Ability to effectively use Amazon Web Services (e.g., S3 and serverless or container services).
Familiarity with API paradigms like REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
Familiarity with tools like Atlassian Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence, and Jira.
Experience with source control and versioning concepts using Git.
Effective oral, written, and visual communication.
Diligence, persistence, and attention to detail.
