Job Description:
This position will be under PHINMA Hospitality Inc. (Microtel by Wyndham) JOB CONTENT: Work with the Executive Chef to plan menus that are flavorful and popular with guests Supervise the operation of the bar to maximize profitability and conform to alcoholic Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising and any special restaurant promotions Coordinate cost control (food cost, expenses, revenue, etc.) purchasing and maintenance duties with the Director of Operations Together with the Director of Operations, develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit goal Direct hiring, training and scheduling of F&B personnel Evaluate F&B staff performance Conduct accident/incident investigations and hold weekly training, meeting, monthly safety meeting and participate in hotel-organized fire drills as required Implement and enforce safety regulations and house rules Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of back-of-the-house and dining areas Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service Make complete dining room inspections daily Issue maintenance orders Train incoming Managers/Supervisors Perform other duties as may be required by Management
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder, preferably HRM or any management courses At least 8 years experience in the food and beverage department from hotel and 2 years experience in managerial level Solid background in handling banquet events Ensures smooth daily restaurant operations Vacancies: 1 for Mall of Asia (Supervisor), 1 for UP Technohub (Manager)
