Engineering Supervisor

Provide direction, technical expertise, and support resources for manufacturing utility-related projects (such as compressed air, steam, process cooling water, chilled water, vacuum)Consult or negotiate with company and external customers regarding project specifications, resources, timelines, costs, and other relevant informationAssign staff to projects and tasks according to their skills and abilitiesLead problem solving efforts in collaboration with cross function teams across the companyDefine project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycleMaintain continuous alignment of project scope with defined strategic business objectives and proactively manage changes in the scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plansMonitor progress of projects, identify problems impeding progress, and participate in their resolutionIdentify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project teamIdentify, propose, and implement changes to project management processes and methodologiesResearch and implement cost savings opportunities for the companyEstablish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improvedServe as a mentor who leads by example to a team of engineers (directing work, employee development, discipline, performance appraisals, administration of policies, etc.)Proven work experience as an Electrical EngineerAbility to lead his/her own team.Licensed Electrical Engineer
