Job Description
The Digital Marketing and Events Specialist acts as online marketing champion and provides administrative support for the Marketing team. S/he collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and exercises creative judgement to ensure availability of high-quality marketing materials and effective execution of events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
· Plans and prepares content calendar for social media channels
· Works with in-house designer and/or digital agency in creating static/video posts and key visuals for paid media
· Applies knowledge of e-commerce, pay-per-click, SEO/SEM and other digital marketing principles to produce relevant content for use on website and social media
· Maintains and curates company website
· Performs social media and website analytics and provides insight and recommendations for improvement
· Works with sales department and oversees online shop; develops other e-commerce platforms
· Implements e-mail marketing including content planning and creation for surveys, promo announcements, newsletters
Events Coordination
· Identifies and coordinates with vendors and agencies from ideation to execution of ad campaigns, trade shows, and exhibits
· Collaborates with other departments and assists Marketing Manager in organizing internal events and trainings
· Coordinates sponsorships and/or media requests and serves as liaison
Marketing Administration
· Assists Marketing Manager in expense tracking
· Helps perform periodic audit exercises to identify branding application challenges and works with Marketing team to resolve and manage issues
· Coordinates with other departments to gather information, announcements, and updates for posting in appropriate external/internal platforms
Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Job Specifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Design, Multimedia or equivalent
· 2-4 years progressive marketing experience preferably in digital marketing or advertising position
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in MS applications, Adobe Creative Suite and other multimedia software

· Highly creative and collaborative
