Job Description:
Art Directors are responsible for not only what design deliverables will look like, but also making sure that all request are met on spec and on time. They are also in charge of a team of creative designers, their skills, and their performance. The ideal Art Director stays on top of cultural and social trends; is able to communicate well with clients; can manage multiple projects with tight turnaround, and can train and coach team members.
Responsibilities: With the Creative Director, conceptualize, pitch and execute creative concepts for branding clients, websites and as campaigns Create comps, storyboards, animations, and other final deliverables as required Build and nurture client relationship Direct and supervise the creative team and collaborate with other teams for campaigns or project Ensure the quality of all campaigns/ projects through QA and auditing Mentor and coach creative team members through performance management. End-to-end management of each stage of the project life cycle Management of task queues Ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and to spec Work schedule creation and supervision Minimum Qualifications:
Desired Skills and Experience: 2-3 years experience in art direction, design and in editing images and videos Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, visual design, and storytelling Expert in design tools and platforms (Photoshop, Illustrator, Etc) Advance skill in motion design tools and platforms ( AfterEffects, etc.) Knowledge in 3D design platforms a plus (Blender, Maya, 3DS, etc) Project and team management experience required Good understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising concepts and practices Web and banner design experience preferred Client-facing experience a plus Strong analytical and planning skills; Good communication and presentation skills; Excellent problem-solving skills; Keen eye for detail Bachelor's degree in a related field Must be willing to work flexible hours
