Duties and Responsibilities
Convert concepts and designs to web pages using HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
Develop and enhance content-managed websites to support digital marketing activities (product launches, campaigns, third-party integrations and online tools).
Manage existing WordPress websites; must be able to understand and troubleshoot.
Perform the testing and debugging of application/ system.
Enforce proper coding standards and help maintain a clean, consistent code base.
Prepare assets required for the websites; tasks include web and multimedia design, animation, content management, video/audio editing, etc.
Improve site UX/UI and optimize website functionalities for both desktop and mobile.
Stay on top of industry trends and new web technologies, and proactively presents new ideas to improve brands' digital presence to maximize leads and customers.
Provide strategic technical expertise within project design and planning phrases.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
Manage time and workload effectively; understand when/how to reach out to peers, managers and other leads for guidance and escalations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related fields.
1 - 2 years experience in Web Development (PHP, PHP Framework, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap 3 or 4), Mobile Development and/or Database System (SQL and NoSQL).
Advanced knowledge in JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX.
Strong development knowledge with working in the WordPress Framework, Bootstrap or anything similar.
Advanced knowledge in back-end and plug-in development for WordPress.
Experience in Server and Hosting Maintenance (FTP, SMTP, SSH and DNS)
Preferably with:
Knowledge in networking and full loop development life cycle including deployment.
Industry exposure and knowledge in technical SEO implementation.
Familiarity in Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager.
Experience in responsive/ cross browser/ cross platform web development.
Familiarity in working with version control systems.
Knowledge in Photoshop or any other graphic applications.
Hardworking, with professional attitude and a good team player.
Flexible and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
