Philippines’ trusted executive search and recruitment company Lennor Metier is urgently recruiting for a Web Developer on behalf of our Information Technology client.
The position will be in Pasig City, Philippines.
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of client’s website.
Responsibilities
Primarily assigned to develop web applications based on client’s needs (Content Management System and E-commerce System)
Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding and modifying websites / web applications based on technical and functional specifications
Capable of understanding and translating client’s needs into an effective application design
Actively communicating and collaborating with team members thru team meetings and tracking tools (Githab, GitLab, Zoho, PHP Storm)
Efficiently assisting clients and WSI team members in the complete development life cycle of a project from data gathering, analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, documentation and maintenance)
Willingly be working on various integration projects with third party APIs
Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Diligently following up issues on a timely basis and ensuring their timely resolution
Consistently helps in code debugging, code review and code standards implementation
Actively participating in root-cause analysis of any issue encountered during the development of a project
Effectively upholding company’s practices, standards and policies relating to software development
Adhering with the company’s vision and existing policies
Supporting company’s best practices, processes and technologies
Exhibiting professionalism and versatility while working in a diverse working environment
Displaying enthusiasm on continuous learning by discussing openly with management his/her career aspirations and professional development.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Design, Computer Science or Information Technology
At least 2 years working experience in web programming (PHP, LARAVEL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, MySQL)
At least 2 years working experience with database management (MySQL, MSQL, MS Access)
Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO)
Knowledgeable in Agile Methodology/SCRUM
Core java programming experience is an advantage
Knowledgeable in WordPress, Content Management System and E-commerce System
Experience in working, integrating and building applications with third party API’s
Can work with teams or independently
Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
