DescriptionAs a Web Developer, you will be responsible to support EMEA’s Channel business, working on maintaining, developing and improving Vertiv’s technology systems like VPP (Vertiv Partner Portal) or VIP (Vertiv Incentive Program) by designing, coding and modifying these platforms to hit Channel targets for 2019 and further support the growing for 2020. You will have a key role and will undertake the continuous enhancement of channel programs and tools as well as configurators to ensure that portals will remain cutting-edge. The technical support will be given also for different campaigns or activities run to hit the targets.You will work inside DSG (Digital Solutions Group) team but with dedicated focus on supporting EMEA business and stakeholders. Will be part of a small community of web developers but working in conjunction with the marketing leaders and Channel team.Responsibilities:Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as C# .Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)
Support the EMEA Channel programs by designing, coding and modifying our existing portals and ensure these are cutting-edge
Offer support to extended channel team by fixing issues within core templates or debugging
Constant communication with colleagues and stakeholders, both internal and in conjunction with external specialist vendors.
Regular exposure to business stakeholders, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written English language communications skills – able to present thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely to a senior audience
2-3 years experience of developing within a .Net web CMS, ideally EPiServer. Preference will be given towards individuals already possessing, or working towards the professional accreditation ‘EPiServer Certified Developer’
12-18 months experience of developing custom landing pages and forms within marketing automation packages, ideally Eloqua
