Warehouse Team Lead

I. PURPOSEWarehouse Team Leader oversees and coordinates on the daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing of goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervises and trains warehouse staff and daily activities.- Manages, evaluates, and reports on warehouse productivity.- Tracks and coordinates the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.- Orders supplies and maintains suitable inventory levels.- Checks orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.- Maintains records, reports relevant information, and prepares any necessary documentation.- Performs daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.- Performs daily cycle count and Annual Physical Inventory.- Communicates and coordinates with other departments and customers.- Compiles accurate delivery records and reports. (POD)- Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.III. QUALIFICATIONSA. Minimum Education- College graduate (IE or related course)B. Minimum Experience/Training- Minimum Five (5) years' experience in warehouse and logistics operationC. Competency- Proven experience as Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor or similar position- Can work flexible hours- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations- Basic math and recording abilities- Knowledgeable in process improvements, RCA, or Basic Lean Management principles- Great communication and interpersonal abilities- Keen eye for detail- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Proficient in SAP/WMS/MS Office (Excel)- Good physical condition- Knows how to operate forklift (MHE)IV. WORKING CONDITIONS- In performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to physical activities like lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling medium weights of up to 20 kilos. The employee is occasionally exposed to dust and airborne particles, changes in temperature and humidity, and to activities involving being around moving machinery.
