Operate computer editing systems and equipment for video creation

Lead and give an active contribution to the project timeline, narrative structure, story goals, etc. with the team

Make necessary decisions to follow the project timeline

Choose and combine different shots in the most effective way to form a smooth running story based on the project narrative

Merge video footage and sound effects, musical tracks, and dialogues

Use video editing software, digital video effects software, and other tools to put the video components together

Ensure correct arrangement, presentation, and formatting of the video in accordance with the project guidelines and specifications
Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Experience with editing software packages such as Lightworks, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.

Experience in editing video projects, incorporating sound effects, and transitions

Knowledge in directing and lighting is a plus

Wide knowledge of the latest digital trends, cinematography techniques, and editing principles

Strong time-management and organizational skills

Great attention to detail

Open to constructive criticism from peers and managers

Must have a STRONG portfolio
