As part of our Supply Chain transformation, we have a number of exciting opportunities to join our team as we take the next step in our journey.The purpose of theTransport Support Leadrole is to drive the creation, implementation, adoption and governance of standardised and consistent transport policies, procedures, processes, and compliance, in addition to leading the Transport Administration function so that JB Hi-Fi Group can maintain safe and efficient transport networks and ensure optimal carrier performance and market leading B2C and B2B delivery capability.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading the day-to-day operations of the team, through providing clear role accountability, coaching and directionDevelop, control, execute and drive compliance of standard and consistent transport related operating policies, procedures, processes and guidelines throughout the groupDrive a safety culture through transport processes and provide reporting on COR incidents across the GroupManage the carrier audit schedule and communicate requirements to all parties, support or undertake audits and monitor the completion of corrective actionsLead the transport administration function including accounts payable and customer damage claims that result from carrier negligenceAbout YouYou will have strong financial and business acumen and be comfortable embracing change, resilient in overcoming challenges and flexible in adjusting priorities, while maintaining a proactive approach to continuous improvement.You will also have:5 years' experience in logistics leadership roles3 years' experience in transport operational leadership rolesComfortable embracing change, resilient in overcoming challenges, and flexible in adjusting priorities, all whilst maintaining a proactive approach to continuous improvementExperience in retail logistics (desirable)Experience with freight management systems and leading administrative functions (desirable)Knowledge of the Australian Consumer Law (desirable)Experience in conducting audits and managing corrective actions (desirable)Experience in delivering compliance training (desirable)Knowledge of the transport industry, transport equipment and relevant legislative and regularly requirements such as Chain of Responsibility (desirable)To ApplyIf you are interested in this exciting opportunity with us, please click apply and upload your CV.
