JOB SUMMARY
The accomplishment of sales, coverage, promotion objectives for Principals of ZPC within assigned accounts consistent with the Division’s and the Principals’ standards and policies.To create a strategic alliance with the assigned Principals and with the assigned accounts. Ensuring the completion of the sale cycle (e.g. booking of orders, delivery of the goods, Promotion of products). Adhering to ethical standards and practices, financial responsibility and targeted best practices in order to meet and exceed customer (account) quality expectations
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
Achieve assigned sales quotas by Account and by Principals as defined by the Territory Manager on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Fully understand and support ZPC’s and Principals’ objectives, approved strategies and promotional plans for all accounts.
Coverage
Achieve account coverage with or w/out ZP accounts and promotional goals as defined by his/her targets, the Territory Manager and the Principals represented.
Account Management
The Trade Representative is responsible for ensuring the completion of the sales cycle.
The Trade Representative will identify each of his/her assigned accounts, representing products and services offered by the assigned Principals.
The Trade Representative is responsible for the coordination and communication with other members of the sales force for his/her assigned accounts.
The Trade Representative is responsible to routinely service all accounts.A Trade Representative should implement Promotional Plans (PPs) under the directives of the Principals and other ZPC Managers.
Identification and pursuit of sales opportunities for the Principals.The Trade Representative is responsible for:
Creation and implementation of value-added programs and projects
Financial Analysis and Reporting Requirements
Execution Activities
Directs retail support activities and reports results on a weekly or monthly basis based upon period of the promotion
Timely submission of all reports to the Territory Manager
Timely completion of all expense reports with appropriate documentation
Call upon the accounts with precise regularity as defined by the account
Take proper care of all company assets assigned
Competitive Activities
Monitor new and existing competitors defined by the Principal
Understand competitive products as well as those of the Principals’ to be able to articulate the differences between the different products and services to the pharmacists and other account personnel
Expenses
Manage expenses within allocated budget and submit expense reports according to standard policies and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of any 4-year course
With at least 1 year work related experience in Trade
Computer Literate and with good communication skills
Highly organized
