Position Requirements (Basic Qualifications) Education and Training
Must have knowledge in Business Process Mapping or Engineering
Good analytical ability to extensively analyze systems and operating procedures
Good business/client engagement skills to establish effective working relationship with client and business representatives
High level of competence with MS Office
Standard level written and verbal communication skills, to be able to identify pro-actively propose system and process improvements
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with a strong commitment to achieving the goals of the department and the company. Preferably candidates must be with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or Communications.
With more experience in technical writing on standard procedures, policies and the ability to interact with specialists for possible assignment on site, is an advantage.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Determine the needs of end users of technical and process documentation.
Study functional description of the particular department and talk with key informants
Work with technical staff to craft and package a document that need fewer instructions and easy to understand by the end user.
Organize and write supporting documents for company products and services
Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding
Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos
Standardize content across platforms and media
Gather usability feedback from employees across all the departments
Revise documents as new issues arise
Conduct research on the topics through personal observation, library and Internet research, and discussions with technical specialists.
