Location / Shift Clark Office, Mid Shift NOTE: You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position Job Description The Technical Estimator we are looking for will be closely with the sales, design and operations teams, and will be responsible for the preparation and submission of quotations. There will be a requirement to join team meetings with clients occasionally as required. So we are looking for someone who can bring experience to the team, but who is also eager and willing to learn and progress. Ideally, you need experience of construction industry estimating, with experience in façade and masonry products being an added bonus. This is an opportunity to carve out your niche in a fast growing business, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to grow and progress within the team. Responsibilities and duties: ? Producing quotations and mark-ups for clients in a timely manner ? Produce order schedules ? Reading architects and structural drawings accurately ? Keeping up to date with knowledge of latest building regulations and safety standards within our industry ? Ensure that all work is done to the highest standard ? Finding innovative solutions to structural support of building facades, particularly masonry or brick facades. ? Some structural knowledge or ability to grasp structural concepts is essential. ? Produce design concepts for clients at pre construction stage. Qualifications ? Excellent communication skills ? Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Business Central would be beneficial ? Computer literate, good to excellent Excel knowledge is essential ? Knowledge of industry standards and regulations or willingness to learn these. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Able to communicate and work in a team environment ? Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software would be very beneficial.
