Job Summary: The Production Team Leader plays a crucial role in the kitchen operations of our restaurant. They are responsible for overseeing the food production process, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and leading the kitchen team to meet customer expectations. This role requires strong leadership, culinary skills, and the ability to maintain a smooth workflow in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the kitchen staff, ensuring they are well-trained, productive, and adhere to food safety and quality standards. Food Preparation: Supervise the cooking and preparation of dishes, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation meet the restaurant's standards. Workflow Management: Manage the production schedule, coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service, especially during peak hours. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on prepared dishes and ingredients to maintain food quality and safety. Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient and supply levels, placing orders when necessary to avoid shortages. Hygiene and Safety: Enforce proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Training and Development: Provide training to kitchen staff on culinary techniques, food presentation, and safety protocols. Menu Compliance: Ensure all menu items are prepared in accordance with recipe specifications and restaurant standards. Problem Solving: Address any issues or complaints related to food quality or preparation, taking appropriate corrective actions. Cost Control: Work with the management team to minimize food wastage and control kitchen operating costs. Job Summary: The Service Team Leader is a key role in our restaurant's front-of-house operations. They are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, leading the service team, managing cashiering and cash control, and overseeing the delivery service to maintain a positive dining experience for guests. This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate service operations efficiently, including cash handling.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the service staff, ensuring they are well-trained, attentive, and provide exceptional service to guests. Cashiering and Cash Control: Oversee all cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling, reconciling registers, and maintaining proper cash control procedures. Customer Experience: Oversee the dining area to ensure guests receive a high-quality experience, addressing any customer concerns promptly and professionally. Scheduling: Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak hours and events. Training and Development: Train service staff on customer service best practices, menu knowledge, and restaurant policies. Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are taken accurately and delivered correctly to tables, addressing any discrepancies. Conflict Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues with grace and efficiency, offering solutions and ensuring guest satisfaction. Hygiene and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe dining environment. Inventory and Supplies: Coordinate with the management team to monitor and replenish supplies for the front-of-house, such as table settings, linens, and condiments. Delivery Oversight: Manage the restaurant's delivery service to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to off-site locations. TEAM LEADER QUALIFICATIONS:
- With leadership experience (Team Leader, Supervisor, Management Trainee)
- Restaurant/Food Service Background
- Graduate of any course (2 or 4 years) preferred but not required
- With basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Willing to work more than 8 hours
- Male or Female
