TaguigPrimarily, the role exists to assist in the quality assurance of our web and mobile applications. The candidate will be expected to identify and develop test cases, create/update user stories, maintain robust documentation in Confluence, facilitate test execution, and defect management activities, and report bug statuses regularly within JIRA and/or Confluence. You will be working within the Product Team at FlySpaces, consisting of a Senior Technical Lead, Front End Dev, Back End Dev, Product Designer, and Project Manager.
You will be working with the team to iterate as fast as possible at the highest quality. Learning on the job is crucial and you should move fast in instances where challenges surface. We are looking for a strong team player who can be a key member of the FlySpaces internal development team.
Responsibilities
Create Test Cases/Scenarios in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies.
Constantly test all aspects of the FlySpaces platform to identify holes and areas to improve
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Collaborate with the Project Manager to understand system requirements, use cases, and performance considerations
Collaborate with UX/UI team to create detailed and functional User Stories
Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the QA Lead.
Identify and categorize internal and external customer product feedback into defects, issues, or enhancements
Experienced in Release Management, Triage bugs for the build release cycle, and production readiness including updating the release documents
Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management and interpersonal skills.
Able to work as a team member in a diverse and dynamic work environment.
Can cope with fast-paced environments, deployment cycles, and tight deadlines
Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as Quality Assurance Tester for software
Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management and interpersonal skills.
Expert knowledge of software QA methodologies, and processes
Solid Knowledge in an Agile/Scrum and Software Development Life cycle SDLC and STLC
Understand accessibility and security compliance
Bonus Experience
QA Integration tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Xcode, Android Studio or similar
Continuous Integration (CI) tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar
