As Systems Engineer, Cloud Technology you will design, plan, manage, support, and oversee the Hybrid-cloud environment. You will assist with the management, support, and oversight of the cloud services in Azure and AWS (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS etc.). as our Cloud Engineer you will work across the enterprise to coordinate with the various stakeholders and cross-functional team members for day-to-day activities.
In this role you will:
Implement a variety of secure & scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure clouds SAAS, PAAS, IAAS and desktop as a service.
Create scalable designs for migrating applications to AWS, Azure clouds.
Support the team by creating solution options and estimates for cloud migration projects.
Collaborate closely with customer/vendor point of contacts as well as internal teams to optimize delivery.
Document standard operating procedures with appropriate controls to ensure smooth delivery.
Identify opportunities in automation/scripting of systems infrastructure environments using expert knowledge in Powershell scripting and working knowledge of Python, JSON, BASH.
Propose new solutions while following our cloud technologies roadmap
Good understanding / knowledge of implementation of AWS organizations, IAM policies and AWS network architecture including VPCs, Subnets, Direct Connect.
Create cloud performance, costing, infrastructure reports, API calls.
We are looking for someone who has:
BSC in Computer related area or equivalent experience or certifications.
AWS Solutions Architect certification, Azure Cloud certification
5 Years of hands-on cloud experience in AWS and Azure. Hybrid Cloud Experience IS designing / architecture cloud projects with knowledge of implementation of a variety of secure & scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure clouds.
Full understanding of SSO, Control Plane, Data Plane, Roles, Policies, Networking, Security.
Design and implementation in a Hybrid Cloud environment, understanding of native platform tools vs third party tools. (ex. Cloudformation or ARM templates vs terraform,chef.)
Practical experience designing and building solutions utilizing AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, Lambda, IAM, Kinesis, ECS and Azure Vnet, Intune, Virtual Machines, Functions, Security Center, WVD etc.
Strong work experience in SAN, OS, network, disaster recovery, high availability, firewalls, load balancers, and other advanced hardware concepts, clustering and VMWare
Extensive experience with one or more orchestration/automation platforms: AWS/Azure CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Ansible etc.
Practical experience working in DevOps team/organizations with applied skills in scripting, Git, Jenkins.
Must be very well versed in cloud security and must be able to educate customers on moving to the cloud.
Working knowledge of RDBMS databases on the cloud is preferred.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) & interpersonal skills - able to influence customer stakeholders.
