Supply Chain Director Position Objective: As a part of the leadership team, this role is responsible for the overall Supply Chain management for Philippines including product sourcing based on demand planning, inventory management, quality assurance, warehousing & distribution function, management of external manufacturing, procurement and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Actively contribute ideas as a part of the leadership team to maximise company performance. Strategic planning of the Logistics operations to support the achievement of company objectives. Regularly review supply chain policies, procedures and activities to maximise the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the supply chain. Ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly and in line with KPIs. Provide support to the marketing and sales teams by forecasting volumes and delivering the required products in accordance with agreed timeframes. Maintain inventory levels to support company sales whilst minimising excess stock. Ensure Warehousing and Distribution deliver outstanding service to distributors / customer. Develop and present key performance metrics as required for regular reporting. Negotiate with suppliers to manage costs effectively and meet operational requirements. Management of Customer Services team. Work with all areas of the business to ensure any supply chain issues / complaints are handled appropriately and effectively. Analyse technology and distribution network trends and implement changes within the department as deemed appropriate. Keep oneself updated with current market trends and latest technologies on warehousing & distribution Responsible for HS&E across Tupperware facilities Plan and implement continuous improvements in performance as required. Lead the budgeting and annual planning exercise (operating plan) for the SC function Formal Education & Requirements Prefer candidates with Engineering background Tertiary qualification in Warehousing and Distribution and/or Supply Chain Management. Experience in a high volume FMCG pick pack operation in management capacity. Previous experience leading the strategy specifically for sourcing and procurement for raw materials and logistic services. Strong knowledge on B2B, retail and e-commerce strategies (Omni channel background). Exposure to online models ( sales & delivery) essential. Ideally 5+ yearsâ experience as a supply chain leader. Experience on inventory management, warehouse and logistics. Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Proven ability to prioritise projects and processes Demonstrated experience in managing customers, vendors and other stakeholders in the delivery of complex project requirements to cost, schedule and quality Ability to think strategically and contribute as part of leadership team Good proficiency in MS desktop products including Word, Excel and Outlook High level of written and oral communication skills Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making Excellent planning skills with proven ability to manage personal workload in a busy environment with conflicting demands Ability to communicate and assist a diverse range of clients with demonstrated commitment to customer service Exceptional people management skills
