In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: To prepare and analyze month-end financial and management reports, including trade working capital metrics, aging reports, orders, sales, and backlog reports, and budget vs. actual reports using data from Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and other applications. To support business unit reporting requirements by consolidating financial, accounting, statistical, sales, and marketing information from different applications and location counterparts and uploading it to Hyperion. To assist business unit location contacts with Hyperion issues and review accounts needing explanations due to variance or special cases to facilitate month-end close activities and reporting requirements. To organize work, coach, provide feedback, and identify the development needs of three direct reports. To lead and work on standardization and continuous improvement projects assigned to streamline and increase automation of reports and processes. Who You Are: You are a forward-thinking, highly motivated individual who loves challenges and has an enthusiastic interest in operational improvement. You can proficiently communicate ideas, collaborate, and efficiently work with people at any level, excelling in a team environment. You are proactive and highly innovative in meeting project goals and deadlines.
For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). At least 5 years of progressive work experience in general accounting, financial planning, and analysis. Leadership experience, particularly overseeing operations and direct reports, leading different projects, and working on tactical and strategic initiatives of the department or business. Advanced proficiency in Office365 applications, especially Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Knowledge of computer applications and accounting information systems (e.g., Oracle, Power BI, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
