Structural Engineer

Job Description:

Review/analyse tower and rooftop structures and foundations using computer software and other accepted engineering methods

Use a range of computer software for developing detailed designs

Conform design to local jurisdictional requirements for land use and permitting

Design reinforcing, retrofitting and extension solutions

Sign and Seal structural analysis reports/certificates, design drawings and as built documents

Perform site visits as needed to document field conditions for new sites and site modification projects

Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations

Coordinate and manage timelines and milestones

Coordinate with other engineers, drafters, site acquisition and construction personnel in a team environment

Work closely with Business Development team to prepare for bids, material/supplier selection and review of SOW and fees/prices

Responsibilities will also include client contact and interface

Manage other multi-disciplined projects

Qualifications:

3-5 years of related working experience required

BS/MS Degree, Professional License in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant fields

Proficient with STAAD, AutoCAD and other 3D software

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Good working knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations

Knowledgeable in local and international codes and standards

Good communication skills, time management skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills and a team player

Ability to travel/perform site visit when required/with valid driver’s license

Experience working with PH MNO is a plus
