Staff Accountant

W e are looking for a construction accountant for a general contractor company located in the San Francisco. Hands on position that will support the Controller. This role is 100% onsite.



Responsibiltiies Support the month end close and day to day accounting activities WIP reporting tracking project costs expenses and revenues. Prepare and maintain project budgets and forecasts Prepare and PL reports and cash flow projections budget variance analysis Review and reconcile contractor and vendor invoices ensuring proper documentation and adherence to contract terms. Prepare and monitor project billing and collections resolving any billing discrepancies and ensuring timely payment. Project and contract compliance Ensure overall project compliance and coordination with project requirements. Provide support to project teams and office staff by assisting with general needs and requests fostering a productive and efficient work environment. : Addtional skills Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with management clients vendors etc. at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees vendors clients customers and other management at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment in a fastpaced environment where productivity is key to success. Ability to work under pressure in a highvolume environment where productivity is key to success. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment where productivity is key to success. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this position. Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
