You'll identify organizations' current and future data protection challenges in Salesforce Cloud to help match the company's products and support services to those needs. In this role, you are often the first touchpoint for those interested in the company's products and will set the tone for the following sales cycle. Professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent communication are key characteristics to be successful in this role. You need to be a self-motivated, out-of-the-box thinker with the ability to understand what a customer needs and articulate how the company can help. You are also a team player who thrives on working collaboratively with both internal and external teams.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Researching, identifying, and qualifying potential customer prospectsTargeting account lists and developing an outreach plan (via LinkedIn, phone, email, etc.) to generate new business opportunities.Positioning AvePoint's Cloud Backup by executing and communicating effective product and solution-based messaging.Recording accurate customer data into our CRM systemWhat you will bring to the team:Bachelor's degree (preferred)2-5 yrs. prior business development/cold calling/outreach experienceSales experience in the B2B space/experience.Experience in Technology/ Cloud solutions industryWith Salesforce experienceDemonstrated skills in both oral and written communication abilities.Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment.Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning.Must be amenable to work in US EST Time and/or UK TimeMust be amenable to work hybrid set-up (3x work onsite, 2x WFH weekly)
