Job Description:
Research potential vendors Communicate and negotiate with overseas clients Track deliveries and update order records to ensure timely delivery Order supplies and equipment based on company’s needs Make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked Update internal databases with order details Conduct market research to identify pricing trends Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts Follow up with suppliers as needed to confirm or change orders Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition Familiarity with supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analyses Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business, Purchasing, or equivalent Can speak and understand Mandarin Chinese language is required At least have an experience as a Sourcing Assistant or related role Good understanding of supply chain procedures Knowledge of market research Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage
