Overview
The Test Engineer for Software will support various electrical, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing activities within the Engineering and Operations team. This role will utilize a broad range of skills and provide the candidate with experience spanning multiple product development disciplines. This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility to support the various team needs.
What You Will Do
- Work with the engineering team, manufacturing team, and Contract Manufacturer to define the manufacturing test plan
- Develop and maintain manufacturing test tools
- Develop and maintain database for test data record
- Support NPI build and debugging
- Review test data to improve manufacturing test yield and throughput
- Bring test insight to the cross-functional team for product development
Who You Are
- 5+ years of test engineering (SW) experience with a focus on software
- Familiar with C, C++, or Python
- Familiar with Java and application development on Android platform
- Working knowledge of Cloud services
- Experience in taking MFG test work for full product cycle (from NPI to EOL)
- Professional-level oral and written communication skill in English
- Willing to take on different challenges with flexibility
Extra Credit
- Working knowledge of database and experience working with databases
- Basic understanding of hardware
