Social Media Manager

Position: Social Media ManagerNumber of hours: 20 hours/weekSchedule: ESTTasks required:*Manage the social media channels of the client (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)*Set up and/or optimize company pages within each platform to increase the company's social content visibility*Schedule daily posts on different social media platforms*Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification*Analyze conversion funnels, identifying and optimizing key messaging opportunities to help attract and retain customers*Map out a strong long term social media strategy to create brand longevity in the market*Review site content, conversion funnels, analytics and statistics to make recommendations for new and creative growth strategies*Generate new ideas for social media posts and execute them from start to finish, including occasional video and photo editing*Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) to build meaningful connections*Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.*Respond regularly to various engagements (Comments, DM's, reposting, likes)*Prepare monthly progress reports to measure the success of social media campaign*Other ad hoc tasks that would be assignedRequirements:*Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or a relevant experience*Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Youtube, Tiktok, and especially Instagram for business purposes*Excellent grasp of Instagram's algorithm and trends is highly desirable*Experience with creating compelling content to effectively engage the target audience*Can work independently and with minimum supervision*Knowledge of utilizing various graphic design and video editing software*Familiarity in using social media analytics software*Well versed in social media marketing and advertising*Knowledge in engaging and interacting with the different types of demographics*Strong verbal and written English communication skills*Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
